Installation and Usage Guide

RawkSD allows you to install custom songs as DLC onto an SD card, to be played on Rock Band 2.
It also supports importing songs from Rock Band 1 and Guitar Hero 3 disc images. We suggest using SuperDump to dump your discs to SD/USB in 15 to 30 minutes.
It supports everything up to the most updated Wii, though you must run the included IOS37 patcher before running it (unless you already have IOS37 patched, through cIOScorp or SoftMii or something).

A good website to gather custom songs from is ScoreHero (or Rock Band ScoreHero).

NOTE: RawkSD does not work when Rock Band 2 is loaded with recent cIOS releases, which means no USB/SD loaders (yell at waninkoko; it's not our fault). Either use an original disc, or cIOScorp37 is known to work.

Man, I wish I could use my 360 Rock Band Accessories with the Wii. I want custom DLC

Has anyone tried this? I get a code dump error when I run the patcher. Any ideas?

Hi , for me.
everything works fine to dump the song form RB1 + RB1 track pack + AC/DC track pack on the SD as custom DLC. I see them in the game, but when I try to play it in RB2. It always tell me "cannot be restored to the wii system memory".

My Wii is on menu 3.4.
I installed the cIOS37 dip as IOS232.
I've patched the IOS37 with the RAWKSDPATCHER .dol.
I insall the songs using RAWKSD .dol in homebrew.
I launch RB2 with "RB Launcher Channel By Mrkinator" with the original RB2 disc.

I did download a lot of DLC for RB2. I've notice that on my SD card.
There's a directory sZAE, sZBE and cRBA in the private\wii\data directory.
I know the the sZAE is for original DLC. cRBA for custom but what is sZBE ???

Maybe my problem comes from there ?

By the way, first I was trying to load game via Backup launcher (Neo Gamma R6) or USB Loader. At this time I had "Out of date" message. I saw on the support page that maybe it was the launcher...

What Launcher can we use ?

You can't launch it via backup launcher or USB loader until there is a new cIOS that can do it. However, if you use cIOScorp with the cIOS37fix you can get it to work from the disc channel. Thing is, you need 3.2 for cIOScorp. If you are willing to go through the hassel I recommend getting MiiWii, it includes everything you need to downgrade and install cIOScorp.

You'll want to backup your NAND with BootMii before starting. I managed to make a dumbass mistake the other night tweaking my install and bricked my Wii for about an hour.

i got them to install and everything for me on the weekend, but the files need some tweaking.... the notes are WAY off on some of them.

i dont know where to ask anymore. i installed rawksd, i removed some cios for it to work and it did work but now i cant use the usb loader, and i cant install wad files keeps giving me a return error -2011. even my installed bootmii doesnt work when i load it wii just blinks(disk light). im now at 4.1u updated using wankikos updater. how will i get the wad instalers to wrk again? pls help thanks a lot
