Worked fine in my DOL-101 USA GC, chiped with qoobSX. Put Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 NTSC-J in my 2GB Kingston microSD. The ISO was unshrinked. Sent "sdboot(slotB)-lz.dol" through BBA. It loads fast and works nice. Speed was the same of streaming te ISO, no BGM in fights and noises on loadings.
Some points:
1. Why two versions of the DOL for two slots? Why not make only one with the option to choose the slot to search?
2. File selection is a bit crude, just the dot highlights the selected file, and it moves o.O?
Like, i had three itens on my list: ".", ".." and "ngnt4.iso". When i move down once, i had only ".." and "ngnt4.iso". Again and just "ngnt4.iso". Bit weird, but nothing to alarm, i'm just being picky.
But thanks anyways, as my first attempt on your app worked wonderful. And with a game above 1GB in a 2GB card
Say, apart from some possible bugs to be reported, do you still have any wishlist for sdboot?
Like improve speed (i think SD transfer speeds is the guilty here) or anything?
Maybe merge it in GCoS as a tool (GCFTP also)?

I plan to try to add SDHC support (when i get a card that is..), Progressive Scan, fix homebrew once and for all, fix a handful of ISO I know aren't working.. maybe tackle audio streaming.. and try to speed things up
edit: yes, please excuse the crappy file browser handling, but hey it was a 2 minute fix up and at least it works

Thanks for that jewel.
I hope this version will work with my card( I have 1, 2 and 4 Gb not HDSC, but only 1 an 2 reads). The previous versions halted when yet I had made the selection of dol.
But the problem is the swaping of the adapter and GC memory. I have an old Vipper that is very poor in memory. I currently have a Cobra bios with Sdload plugin, but it reads only from the A slot memory. It could be perfect if somebody released a Cobra bios with a Sdload
versaion for slot memory B. My atempts in doing that ends with a larger than availabe space in the old Vipper bios.
I fear that the memory slots are not made to suffer that work.
I'll probe your new version soon. Thanks in advance.

Win! With this new version, I was able to boot Animal Crossing and Paper Mario 2.
I have yet to try more games. I have all the Mario Party's at hand so I might try those...
By the way emu_kidid, you know how when there is data transfer lag how it makes a buzzing sound? Well, in a Gamecube loader i once saw, the games I player made no noise instead of a buzzing noise. is this possible?
Once again, Amazing.

thanks for an amaising work.
Have not try many games on this version.
I have PAL Wii With SDML the new disc.
Games working on v3 for me.
the same as before.
4x4Evo USA work good on my PAL
then
Jeremy_Mcgrath_Supercross_World_USA
and
Big_Mutha_Truckers PAL
is starting.
but then an error came up that are telling me to read the
Gamecube instruction or something like that.
So it is not an errorcode from SD-Boot I think.
its from the game.
but I should test some of the games that was not working for me with v1 and 2.
Emu_Kidid
are there any sd adapter that support for SDHC cards.
Edit:
I have now Test.
one more game.
Mario Sunshine
it start and works with V0.3.
it didn´t work att all for me with v0.1 or 0.2.

When sd-boot asks to stop the motor, don't stop it (press A) and you won't get the errors.

I tried doing this in a beta but it resulted in a slightly bigger slowdown.. the buzzing was gone though. I'll try to perfect this for 0.4..

I tried with the gameboy player startup disk and mario sunshine:
the first is better than other sdboot versions because it starts but gives me a nintendo screen that tells me to power off the cube, the second is better but sometimes the sounds vanish...
Good work emu_kidid, this project is always better! Do you think you will make a perfect one on release 1.0? It could be possible?

Great! I'm going to test it right now.
Thank you emukidid!
EDIT:
Well... Animal Crossing still doesn't boot for me, but...
Luigi's Mansion works! Previous versions stopped on the intro, now the intro works without sound but I can really get to game!

only black screen.
on luigi it can be an broken iso.
but rayman 3 is not fragmented and correct.
but SD-Boot can´t show the picture of witch game is loading.
on the place where some games before had yyyyyyyyy.
but that was on fragmented files this is not fragmented and can´t show it.
Thanks again for your great work.
and very nice that you pick up SD-Boot so eary again.

Everytime I've tried to boot an NTSC copy of Luigi's Mansion, I get some weird codescreen upon initial loading (right after the region select.) I've tried both leaving the DVD spinning and stopping it. I don't think it is coming from Gamecube, rather SD-Boot.
Though, Nintendo Puzzle Collection still works fine =P .
Also, this is just a dumb question if anyone cares to answer it: Is it possible to run Luigi's Mansion PAL in NTSC mode through SD-Boot? Since I can't get any copies of my own working at the moment, I can't try it myself.

Hello everyone! Please forgive my ignorance on the subject of GameCube boot loaders and such, as I am just now getting into modding the GameCube. I had just a few questions about this release and GC modding in general.
In the release notes above, the following is stated:
Requirements:
- A Gamecube or a Wii
and one or more of the following
- PSO+BBA (for GC dudes)
- Action Replay + SD CARD
- SDML
- Modchip
Am I correct in assuming that in order to use this SD-Boot on my GameCube, that I do not need a mod-chip, and I only need one thing from that list (such as only an SD Media Loader)? Or do I absolutely need PSO and BBA for this to work on a GameCube?
Is there any way I can tell from looking at my GC whether or not it is compatible with such a "hack"... is there a range of serial numbers I should look for, or are all GC's compatible with this method?
If I do need only an SD Media Loader to use this program to load up emulators and my .gcm game backups, would this product work on my US GC? : http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...en-70-29x.html If that will not work for this purpose, can you please point me to a product that would work? If I plan to use an SDML, do I need to also somehow install a GC OS?
I was also looking at an Action Replay for the GC, such as this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...X/ref=dp_olp_2 . Would that particular AR work for this?
I also checked ebay for PSO, but does that method require streaming the game from my PC via the BBA? Or is that only for an initial hack, after which I can simply use the SD card? Just so I know, is this the correct version of PSO? : http://cgi.ebay.com/Phantasy-Star-On...QQcmdZViewItem
Again, thank you for your patience. I really appreciate any and all help and info about this release and the overall method for getting started with GC modding. If I am on the wrong track, or am over-complicating things for myself, please tell me so, and please put me on the right track.
Thanks again!!

I got Soul Calibur 2 PAL working fine, buzzing noise also and no BGM, streaming sounds i think.
That and Naruto GNT 4 don't work if i turn the DVD motor off.
Need for Speed Carbon NTSC-U don't work, as when streaming it.

Good.
Now I have cobra bios+sdloadb in my cube!
I'm testing games that are not prensents in the wiki and almos all gave me the debug screen of codes.
One that runs fine and worths me alll the work is Dancing Stage Mario Mix (PAL), as the backup alwais returned a lot of DRE. Only a couple of piii in various secuences.
The debug screen of registers is before SDBoot presents in screen the icon of the game.
