Default Moonshell2 and Ez Flash 3 in 1 plus

Project goal:
Use the expansion memory function of the 3 in 1 plus with moonshell2

3in1 plus facts:
1. The latest version of gbaexploader .58b will load gba games with 3in1plus but the expansion memory function(followed by soft reset) doesnt work for the opera browser.
2. Browser can be loaded with special 3in1plus browser patch or 3 in 1plus cheat codes(R4 cheat systems).
3. Alternate firmware: latest version YSMenu will load browser and gba games.
4. after loading Moonshell2 beta10 "Extention memory was not found" always displayed.

Possiblities:
I have the working ds browser patch for 3 in 1 plus including the source. Could a patch be written for moonshell based off this? It looks like it was compiled with devkitpro.

Rudolph(GBAexploader), Moonlite(Moonshell) and Yasu(YSMenu) all write in japanese, I think, and even after google transaltion their sites are very cryptive, but mabey they read tehskeen.

Can a cheat code be written for moonshell like the browser?
I have a M3Simply which uses the R4 cheat system. YSMenu(the replacement firmware for multiple carts) also uses it. To this end r4cce is a windows pc app which allows you to edit this cheat data file.

Default binary hacking

In comparison of the sources for the original ez flash 3 in 1 browser patch(CZ-031P.zip) and the new version for the 3in1pls(CZ-031Pp-test2.zip). Only 2 numbers are chaged in the whole thing. With the cheat codes it is only one.

Moonshell works with the 3in1 but not the 3in1pls. I think it should be possible to open moonshell in a hex editor and change that number. If I am wrong please tell me. Now the problem is where do I find it?

To this end below I post the code from the browser patches and the cheat codes, and hope some friendly hacker see this.

3in1 Patch
Code:
@ SetRompage(0x300)
    MOV R0, #0xD200
    LDR R3, =0x9FE0000
    MOV R1, #0x1500
    STRH R0, [R3] @ 0x9FE0000 = d200
    MOV R2, #0x8000000
    SUB R3, R3, #0x1FC0000 @ r3 = 0x8020000
    STRH R1, [R2] @ 0x8000000 = 1500
    STRH R0, [R3] @ 0x8020000 = d200
    ADD R2, R2, #0x40000 @ r2 = 8040000
    LDR R3, =0x9880000
    STRH R1, [R2] @ 0x8040000 = 1500
    MOV R0, #0x300
    MOV R0, R0,LSL#16
    MOV R0, R0,LSR#16
    ADD R2, R2, #0x1F80000 @ r2 = 0x9FC0000

Side note 3in1pls is really only the name assinged to it by Rudolph. In fact it is the only 3in1 in manufacture and is packaged and sold as 3in1 with no mention of its new configuration.

Cool,

I have a EZ Flash 3 in 1 too here with Cyclo Ds Evo (newest)
It works on games etc.

But not on Homebrew.

I'm gonna try some editing if I'm at home.

Wish me luck!

(Will be Based on the 2.1 update)

Ok i have an Ez Flash 3 in 1 (not plus) and Moonshell 2 doesn't detect it (it works on Opera Browser and NeoDS, so i know it works on homebrew).

I've read that Moonshell doesn't detect DS Lite sized 3 in 1, only gba sized ones, i don't know if this is true but does anyone knows if there is a hardware diference between the two? And if there is what exactly?
