Does not respect 16:9 televisions.
This game is really, really neat, though the controls seem a bit off. I feels like you have to point a little downwards just to fly level. Otherwise very impressive!

Your tv probably automatically adjusts itself somehow (overscan?), or you are using specific pal settings which for some reason seem to be less problematic for you. Either way, your TV is different. Please don't diminish the importance of this very annoying problem. You have no idea how frustrating it is.

yeah it will be, i have scart AV2 wich auto detects pal/NTSC mode, and auto adjusts it correctly so i have no issues, shame for you though, maybe a fix later.

It's a pretty well made game. Being able to control a ship by holding like a paper plane is something i've been dying to do for a while. Although its awkward having to shoot with b well holding it in such a position, it feels right somehow and i wouldnt want it any other way. Not including crosshairs to aim with was a great decision since including one would have made the whole thing way too easy. It would have also made it feel like you were just wielding a remote rather than flying a ship. One of the biggest mistakes though is not including a high score chart and that ruins any sense of accomplishment i could have gotten. Also, whenever I die, it switches to the main menu too abruptly and i always accidently quit the game.

That's cool, hold the wiimote like a paper airplane eh?
I can see how that would be tough to shoot with the B button. I think it would work well with the numchuck by using Z to shoot instead of B. Just a thought.

I too don't understand what the widescreen problem is. I actually used a widescreen tv for developing this and I was more worried it wouldn't look good on a normal aspect tv.

You can press the A button to shoot too. I think the A button is better when holding the mote like a paper airplane, I added the B button in case people prefer holding the wiimote like a tv remote.
For the next version I am thinking about putting some kinda bomb or a rocket to the B button and leave the A button for the main weapon. Or another way would be to still have both A and B for the main weapon and use the directional buttons for the second weapon. What do you guys think?

My favorite app in the competition. 3D is awesome, controls feel great, and it's very challenging in the later levels.

Very impressive I liked the up and downy bit from Level 3 and can see this engine going far! It would be nice to have an option to hold the Wiimote sideways (like in the Wii Wheel) as a control option but what you have does work nicely when you get used to it
On a side note a little bit of text with "Loading..." wouldnt go amiss as I did wonder if the game had crashed when it was loading the level!

The control took a little getting used to, but once you get it, it works well.
This is a great piece of homebrew. I didn't try the multiplayer just yet, but I really enjoyed the graphics. Well done.
With a more diverse soundtrack and some more levels this could be a real homebrew gem.

I am now officially working with Tappio on this game, and I'm making 3D models for the future releases. Hopefully I will get around to finishing some soon :S
Anyhoo, I decided to lend a hand because it's one of my favorite wii home brew games. If I do my job right, it will become one of my favorite games for the wii, period. Diversity is one of the things that can make or break a game of this kind. Here's to hoping that diversity treats us well in the near future.
Respectfully yours,
