Goldeneye Online?

okay everyone rembers the great game called Goldeneye. I still play it myself. I have heard that in japan or somewhere that Goldeneye was playable online. Now i know that the N64 had a modem attachment... but i thought that only japanese games that never came north america side were online.

Cool but....GoldenEye is made by Rare, and Rare was located in England.

Anyway, i'd like to play it online, best console shooter there was/is. But TS 2 and TS3 are cool also. TS 3 is online, but not on the GC :mad:

TS3 is prety good. there are alot of improvements from TS2. but it's a great game that sticks to the Goldeneye esk gameplay.

TS? And I actually remember playin goldeneye online one time. My friend had a jap console with the attachment or something. We played with ppl in japan :p. It was cool.

ts3 is good, but i dont like the multiplayer levels in this game. TS2 was new and stuff, TS3 is just like a exp. pack (at MP)

yeah but it's so much fun. the maps are alot bigger too which is good for online play

Ah, ok. Does TS3 allow for online play on the cube or just for lan on the cube. If so, it's what, the second online game :D.

nope. it doesn't have online. it's only online for ps2 and xbox. which sucks big time!

Yeah, wtf m8! It can't be too hard to program an online game for the cube... cept for the fact that theres no online network. PSO uses it's own, ps2 has a network all games run off i believe, and theres xbox live so the programmers don't have to run servers just for online.

well, there are still no online programs to run GC games online properly. Yeah there is, GC-ARS, but it does only work for a few games and not 100%...:(

works online for LAN enabled games, like 1080, MK: DD and Kirbys airride......i tried it sometimes, but never got it working... :o

If you wanna play cube lan games online, check out www.teamxlink.com. Almost no one plays the gc though, but we could make plans some time or something to if u wanted. I tried xlink once cuz i went in there and actually found some1 with 1080 and worked fine for me, so check it out.

o..ok, but ive only got Mk: DD original, i could borrow 1080 from a friend of mine, but i dont know if cpoies would work on LAN games...

warp pipe is easier to use i think. But i can play MKDD and i could borrow Kirbys air ride from my friend

why WOULDN'T copies work on lan? Its not like nintendo or the dev's put anything into the disc to make sure it's not playing with a copy. Theres nothing nintendo's made to do this yet. And if u think it's a problem with the disc, they'd work cuz it's a 1:1 copy.

The best way to play Goldeneye Online i think is to get Project64K and use the rom. But then again its hard to find people to play it with.

I think myself a guru of this game. I know all secrets, all stages inside out, and the multiplayer stages and respawn places, and of course gun placement by heart.

I just hope this is one of the first rev downloads!
